Finish Line Lodge On The Klausen Pass
The finish line lodge on the Klausen pass (1940 m a.s.l.) originating from the time of the pioneers in automobile and motorbike history is a rarity throughout Europe. It has been under a preservation order since 1998. It was constructed in 1932 according to the plans by an architect from Zurich called Boedecker. During the international Klausen races, this culturally important object served as a building for functionaries, doctors, firstaid attendants, speakers, telephonists and mainly for the timekeeping. From June to September you can visit the exhibition, which displays rolls of honour, the portraits of the international racing motorcyclists and racing drivers as well as photographs of documentary value showing scenes of the Klausen races and history since 1922.
